 Do Our Senses Reveal the World—Or Do They Obscure It ? Beau Lotto

Humans don’t see the world as it really is, we see the world that helps us to live. This means that  humans are not able to see the world accurately because we just get focused on data that is necessary to our lives.      

For example: The color 

We are only able to see a unique hue of the colors. However The Gonodactylus smithii is able to see more hues of colors than humans.

But why does this happen? Because we have not developed this sense because there is unless.

So if we don’t  develop our senses witch are the unique key to perceive the world, we will never see the world as it is.

An example :

A kitten who is free, it sees everything around it. In the other hand there is the other kitten who is in a basket. It is not able to see the real world because it is not developing its senses. However if it is free it can evolve.

The same can happen with a lion who is in a zoo and one who is in the  savannah. the first lion hasn’t developed his senses because he was not in his habitat.

What I think is that as in humans is important to succeed in life by studying, getting a job, etc. For animals the only thing is that they need to explore the world; they need to know the world as it is to in order to survive. That why their senses are more evolved and we use ways of knowing.
